Mark’s R-Rated Sex Pig Blog

Barebacking, glory holes, casual sex and disclosing my HIV status are all discussed in this funny, provocative episode from January of 2009. Aging and negotiating sex as a gay man is as funny as it is frustrating, if you ask me.

If you’re new here, you’ll wonder why my face looks so drawn and wasted in this video from last year. The answer: I was only one month clean and sober, so this is what the face of a Meth addict looks like! It’s also prior to my facial filler treatment for HIV wasting. But aside from that, the video blog is kind of a naughty hoot!

    You disgust me.
(Well, I guess I can’t win them all. p.s. Your message is only three words long and I had to correct your punctuation. — Mark)

Mark I like your blog and your videos but did you really practice safer sex in the 80s? I did read your memoir where you wrote about how you became HIV+

I did like the glory hole conversation I’ve met WAY too many raw tops and bottoms who assume that the men they’re hooking up with online for bareback sex are actually telling the truth when they say that they’re HIV neg.

I personally do not bareback and never have with any men or women I’ve had sex with since I’m bisexual but I also assume that whoever I am having sex with even if it’s a woman or a man is HIV+ or has other STDs and I have safer sex with them. I am in my late 20s now and I’ve been doing this since I was sexually active at 19.

Mark, this is one of the most straight forward, honest, and personaly informative videos I have seen regarding HIV. I am going to get a little personal right now you really made me think, Ive been sexually active since the age of 14 (with both men and women) and unfortunately did not use condoms all the time. Ive had to go through a girlfriend having an abortion and coming from a strongly religious family well it didn’t turn out the best. Ive always been arrogant towards sex because I felt that I was so smart (asking the right questions, choosing individuals who come from good families with good morals, and get as personal as possible to get the honest answer) thank you for showing me I was being an idiot. People lie, I didn’t realize that call me stupid or what ever I’m a teenager its how we think. If a lot more people in my generation saw this I believe it would make them think as much as I did. Thanks so much 🙂

    Hi there,

This is a very powerful video, I have never gone bareback, but have always liked the idea, this brings it smack home to me that I will never do that now, your an inspiration to this Bi man from Plymouth UK. Thank you.
